Since it’s just one sheet, it’s also easy to just grab and take with me to the home improvement store or other shops to pick up things on the list. It’s nothing fancy, y’all, but since I’ve filled one of these out for the kitchen, I’ve already marked a couple of things off that list you see up there. It outlines my general ideas, tasks that need to be done in the space, things that need to be bought, the budget breakdown, room measurements and a section for random things to make note of. To finish all the little things in the dining room, living room, kitchen, and to also fully complete a room makeover by my self-imposed deadlines, I made a Printable Project Planner for Room Makeovers. When I was working as a teacher, anytime something was due, I was either one of the first to turn it in on or before the due date. So this year, I decided to give myself deadlines. Side note: I actually do have curtains in here now! Yay me! You’ve seen the rooms, but there are lots of little things that still need to be finished up, purchased, etc.

I am notorious for starting a project off strong, getting 90% finished, and then……I’m at a standstill.Īll that little stuff at the end, while it’s usually relatively easy and often fun ( hello, accessories!), I always put it off.
